Worship & Prayer

Worship participation is one of the five vows United Methodist Christians make in a local church. It is at the heart of our life and ministry. As it says in Hebrews 10:24, we gather every Sunday for two purposes: to glorify God, and to prompt one another to good works! The congregation gathers to hear God’s the Scriptures read, to praise God with hymns and songs, to proclaim our faith to offer our prayers, gifts, and the Sacraments, to be blessed, and then to go out to serve in the world.

Children and Worship

Children are welcome and encouraged to participate in worship. We have a children's time in the worship service. Then, beginning in October two Sundays per month we will offer confirmation and Children's Sunday School. Children’s tote bags are available near the sanctuary entries.

PRAYER AND CARE MINISTRY TEAM

The Prayer and Care Ministry Team meet twice a month to share concerns and lift them in prayer.  Prayer requests can be made by contacting the pastor or church office (388-3262).  All concerns are kept confidential unless permission is given to put them in the bulletin or on the Prayer Board.  With permission, prayer concerns are passed on to the email prayer chain for additional prayer.
